Privacy Notice
Last updated 17 October 2026. This describes what Kaziloop does with your information, in plain terms.
The short version
We collect what we need to run a marketplace and nothing else. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not run tracking or advertising cookies. Your identity documents are stored privately and deleted once the verification check is finished.
Who is responsible
Kaziloop Ltd decides how and why your information is used. You can reach us through our contact page.
What we hold, and for how long
| What | Why we have it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Your name, email address and password, held by WordPress in the usual way. Passwords are stored as one way hashes and cannot be read by anybody, including us. | For as long as your account exists. |
| Provider profile | What you do, where you work, your rates, photographs of your work, your phone number and your WhatsApp number. All of it is chosen by you and most of it is public. | Until you remove it or close your account. |
| Identity documents | The government document and photograph you send for verification. Stored privately, outside anything a visitor or search engine can reach, and readable only by the verification team. | Deleted automatically after the retention period once a decision has been made. The decision itself is kept. |
| Messages | Conversations between customers and providers, including any photographs attached. | While the account exists, so both sides keep a record of what was agreed. |
| Reviews | Ratings, written reviews and any photographs, along with your display name. | Published reviews remain on the provider they were written about. If you close your account, your name is removed but the review stays, because deleting it would change somebody's rating unfairly after the fact. |
| Payments | The amount, currency, date, gateway and reference for each payment. Card details are never sent to or stored by Kaziloop; they go directly to the payment provider. | Kept for accounting purposes. |
| Technical records | Your address on the internet and the pages you visited, recorded in an audit log for security and for investigating reports. | Cleared automatically after the retention period. |
Identity documents are currently deleted 90 days after a verification decision. Technical records are cleared after 180 days.
What is public
A provider's profile is public by design: their name, headline, description, photographs, service areas, guide prices, rating and reviews. Their phone number is public only if they choose to publish it, and even then it is not written into the page, so it cannot be collected in bulk by an automated tool.
For customers, only the display name attached to a published review is public. Your email address is never shown to anybody, including the providers you message.
Who else sees it
- Providers you contact see your name and what you write to them. They do not see your email address.
- Payment providers receive what they need to take a payment. Card details go directly to them and never touch our servers.
- Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under contract.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose something.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Cookies
We set four, and all of them are needed for the site to work. None of them track you across other websites, and none are used for advertising.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
kz_country |
Remembers which country you chose so the site does not ask again. | One year |
kz_geo |
Caches the country your connection appears to be in, so we do not look it up on every page. | One day |
kz_pending_fav |
Held only if you save a provider before signing in, so the save is not lost. | Seven days, removed as soon as it is applied |
| WordPress session cookies | Keep you signed in and protect forms against forgery. Set only after you sign in. | Until you sign out |
Because none of these are for tracking or advertising, we do not put a consent wall in front of the site. If that ever changes we will ask first.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, or ask us to delete your account. Most of it you can do yourself from your account settings, and for the rest, ask us and we will do it.
One limitation worth stating clearly: reviews you have written stay published when you close your account, with your name removed. Removing them entirely would change a provider's rating unfairly after the fact, and other people relied on them.
Where your information is held
On servers operated by our hosting provider. Because the platform operates across several countries, information may be processed outside the country you are in. We use providers who commit to appropriate protections.
Children
Kaziloop is not for anybody under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about children. If you believe we have, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this notice materially we will say so on the site and, where it affects you directly, by email.
