What we check

Four checks before a profile goes live

    Identity document

    A government-issued ID: a national ID card, passport or driving licence. The whole document must be visible.

  2. 2

    A photo with the document

    A clear photo of the provider holding the same document, so we know the ID belongs to them.

  3. 3

    Business documents, for companies

    Registered businesses also send their registration certificate, and can add a tax certificate.

    A person reviews everything

    A member of our team reviews every document before the profile goes live, usually within two working days.

A badge confirms who someone is

A person checked a government ID and a matching photo of the provider.

Business verified

The business registration documents were also checked.

What a badge does not mean

A badge confirms identity. It is not a guarantee of the quality of the work, so read reviews and agree the details before work starts.

Your documents are stored privately and are never shown on your public profile or shared with customers. Only our verification team can open them, and we delete them once the check is complete.
