Welcome to Kaziloop. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kaziloop website, mobile applications, and related services ("Platform"). By using Kaziloop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
"Kaziloop", "we", "our", and "us" refer to the operators of the Kaziloop platform. "You" refers to any user, including customers, service providers, and visitors. Kaziloop operates across multiple African countries. Local laws, tax rules, and regulatory requirements may apply depending on your location.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Kaziloop, you confirm that:
- You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms
- You are at least 18 years old
- You will comply with all applicable local laws
- You agree to our Privacy Policy
- You will not misuse the Platform
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Kaziloop means you accept the updated version.
2. About Kaziloop
Platform Role
Kaziloop is a Pan‑African digital marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers. We do not:
- Employ service providers
- Supervise or control their work
- Guarantee the quality or outcome of services
- Set pricing for services
- Interfere in agreements between customers and providers
Kaziloop provides the platform only. All service agreements are strictly between the customer and the provider.
3. Multi‑Country Operations
Operating Across Africa
Kaziloop operates in multiple African countries. This means:
- Local laws may apply differently depending on your location
- Service providers must comply with the laws of their own country
- Customers must ensure their requests are legal in their jurisdiction
- Tax obligations vary by country
- Verification requirements may differ depending on national regulations
Kaziloop may adapt features, policies, or compliance requirements to meet local legal standards.
4. Local Tax Responsibilities
Kaziloop does not collect or remit taxes on behalf of service providers unless required by law.
4.1 Service Providers
Service providers are responsible for:
- Understanding their local tax obligations
- Declaring income earned through Kaziloop
- Paying any required taxes (income tax, VAT, GST, PAYE, etc.)
- Registering with local tax authorities if required
- Keeping accurate financial records
Kaziloop does not provide tax advice. Providers should consult a qualified tax professional if needed.
4.2 Customers
Customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring that any service they request complies with local tax rules
- Paying any applicable taxes related to the service they receive
Kaziloop is not responsible for tax disputes between users and local authorities.
5. Eligibility
To use Kaziloop, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Not be banned from using the Platform
- Use the Platform for lawful purposes
Service providers must also meet verification requirements.
6. User Accounts
6.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to access certain features. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your details updated
- Not create multiple accounts without permission
6.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Protecting your login credentials
- All activity under your account
- Reporting suspicious activity immediately
Kaziloop is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access due to your negligence.
6.3 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraud or harmful behavior
- Provide false information
- Misuse the Platform
You may delete your account at any time.
7. Service Providers
7.1 Verification
Service providers may be required to complete:
- ID verification
- Phone verification
- Document submission
- Additional checks depending on category or country
Kaziloop may reject or revoke verification at its discretion.
7.2 Provider Responsibilities
Service providers must:
- Provide accurate information about their skills
- Deliver services professionally and ethically
- Respect customer privacy
- Comply with local laws and regulations
- Not engage in fraud, harassment, or harmful behavior
- Respond to customers in a reasonable timeframe
7.3 Fees
Kaziloop is free for service providers for their first year. After that period, optional paid features or subscription plans may be introduced.
7.4 Provider Conduct
Providers must not:
- Misrepresent qualifications
- Upload fake documents
- Manipulate reviews
- Overcharge or exploit customers
- Use the Platform for illegal activities
Violations may result in permanent removal.
8. Customers
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate job details
- Communicate respectfully
- Pay service providers directly
- Not request illegal or unsafe services
- Leave honest and fair reviews
Kaziloop is not responsible for payment disputes, service quality, or damages caused by providers.
9. Cross‑Border Services
Cross-Border Obligations
If a customer and provider are in different countries:
- Both parties must comply with their local laws
- Providers must ensure they are legally allowed to offer services across borders
- Customers must ensure the service is legal in their country
- Tax obligations may differ for each party
Kaziloop does not mediate cross‑border legal or tax issues.
10. Reviews and Ratings
10.1 User-Generated Content
Users may leave reviews, ratings, and feedback based on real experiences.
10.2 Review Guidelines
Reviews must:
- Be honest
- Be based on actual interactions
- Not contain hate speech, threats, or personal attacks
10.3 Moderation
Kaziloop may remove or edit reviews that:
- Are fake
- Are abusive or discriminatory
- Contain confidential information
- Attempt to manipulate ratings
- Violate our policies
Kaziloop owns the rights to all reviews posted on the Platform.
11. Payments
Direct Transactions
Kaziloop does not currently process or handle payments between customers and service providers. All financial transactions, including pricing, negotiation, invoicing, and payment methods, are arranged directly between both parties.
Because Kaziloop is not involved in the payment process, we cannot be held responsible for any financial disputes, failed payments, overpayments, underpayments, fraud, or losses that occur during or after a transaction.
If Kaziloop introduces paid features, subscription plans, or in‑platform payment systems in the future, these will be governed by separate terms and conditions. Users will be notified before any such changes take effect.
12. Prohibited Activities
Strictly Not Allowed
Users must not engage in any activity that harms the platform, other users, or the integrity of the Kaziloop community. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Using Kaziloop for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Posting false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing others
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the platform
- Uploading viruses, malware, or malicious software
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings
- Scraping or collecting data without permission
- Offering or requesting services that violate local laws
Kaziloop may investigate and take action, including suspension, termination, or legal enforcement.
13. Platform Availability
Uptime & Maintenance
Kaziloop aims to provide a reliable, accessible platform across multiple African countries. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or factors beyond our control.
We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time to improve performance or comply with local regulations. Kaziloop is not liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from platform unavailability.
14. Limitation of Liability
Liability Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaziloop is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes:
- Losses caused by service providers
- Damages resulting from poor service quality
- Injuries, accidents, or property damage
- Payment disputes or financial losses
- Miscommunication between users
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Errors, delays, or interruptions in platform functionality
Users engage with each other at their own risk.
15. Intellectual Property
Ownership & Licences
All content on Kaziloop — including logos, branding, text, graphics, icons, images, layout, software, and design — is the exclusive property of Kaziloop. Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
Service providers retain ownership of content they upload but grant Kaziloop a license to display and use it within the platform.
16. Third‑Party Services
External Integrations
Kaziloop may integrate with third‑party tools such as verification partners, analytics providers, and hosting services. These third‑party services operate independently and have their own terms and privacy policies.
Kaziloop is not responsible for their accuracy, reliability, or actions. Users interact with third‑party services at their own risk.
17. Dispute Resolution
Resolving Issues
Kaziloop is not a party to agreements between customers and service providers. Therefore, we are not responsible for resolving disputes related to service quality, payments, delays, or cancellations.
However, we may review reports, investigate violations, and take action against harmful users. Kaziloop does not guarantee dispute resolution.
18. Governing Law
Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the user is located, unless local regulations require otherwise. Users must comply with the laws, regulations, and tax requirements of their specific jurisdiction.
Kaziloop may cooperate with legal authorities in any country where we operate.
